BAJA TRIPPING WITH A COBRA by Kevin L

 
The thought of a cruise to the Mexican Riviera was in the back of our minds before we booked our first trip with Phill. We took the challenge of kayaking the Sea of Cortez and had no regrets about our choice. Phill Michael was a great host and friend throughout the trip.  Perhaps the best moments (which seemed like days) were the casual and relaxing times spent on the beaches that we had all to ourselves.  Time moved slowly. The world was ours.

Discovery was simply a few feet away, in any direction. The warm waters of the Cortez and the beautiful marine life allowed for endless hours of underwater euphoria.  The backcountry hikes were an oasis of adventure and discovery far separated from the busy city life. I have had the pleasure of being on 6 trips with Phill.  From ice climbing (Click here for movie of "What's up with Kevin") to scuba diving ( Click here for movie of "There goes Kevin" ), many extreme elements have been challenged.
